Long Covid Support is a registered charity in England and Wales.

Formed by a group of people struggling to recover from Covid-19, who found each other online, our focus is to campaign and advocate in the UK for recognition, rehabilitation and research into treatments and to facilitate international peer support.

Our organisation comprises people with lived experience of Long Covid, medical researchers and other interested supporters. We are governed by a board of Trustees and have an operations group who run our day-to-day activities.

Our international Long Covid Support Group on Facebook connects people from over 100 countries and territories. It is an inclusive space for people experiencing the diverse, debilitating and alarming symptoms of Long Covid to share information, help each other through the bad days and rejoice in the good.

Our Covid-19 Research Involvement Group on Facebook allows scientists and researchers to interact directly with people with Long Covid and is a place to discuss and promote involvement, participation and engagement in scientific research.

We work closely with several Long Covid organisations that focus on specific areas:

  • Covid-19 Research Involvement Group, where investigators can make connections with patients for involvement, participation and engagement in research into Covid-19.
  • Long Covid Kids, a parent-led campaign and support group.
  • Long Covid Scotland, an action group focused on the specific issues facing people living in Scotland.
  • Long Covid Wales, a patient-led support group focused on the specific issues facing people living in Wales.
  • Long Covid Physio, a global peer-support and advocacy group for Physiotherapists (Physical Therapists) and support workers living with Long Covid.
  • Long Covid Work, supporting people with Long Covid to stay in, return to, or leave work well.
  • Occupational Therapy for Long Covid, professional practice and research to support people to Live Life Well with Long Covid.
