We appreciate that people with Long Covid can’t always be the ones actively raising the funds for us. Do you know anyone in your family, friends, neighbours or work colleagues who would be to participate in an event on behalf of us? If so, there are lots of events that they could take part in across the country and abroad.

Toni fell ill with Long Covid in April 2020 and was extremely ill. Thankfully, after 2 years, she recovered and is preparing to run the Cambridge Half Marathon in March 2024 and the Manchester Marathon in April 2024. We wish her the very best of luck with her training and look forward to her completing her goal.

Matt is going without alcohol throughout the whole month of October. He is raising money on behalf of his mother who has sadly been suffering with Long Covid since March 2022. We’re all behind you, Matt!

In September 2023, Holly completed a Tough Mudder AND the Great North Run in the same weekend all while raising funds for Long Covid Support. “The camaraderie of the races along with my desire to raise funds to support the long covid community somehow carried me round and gave me such a massive sense of achievement - truly a weekend to treasure!”. Way to go, Holly! Please help Holly achieve her fundraising goal.

Long Covid Support have secured spaces for the upcoming ‘Santa In The City’ run/walk around the streets of London on the 6th & 7th December 2023. Open to all ages, it’s a 4.5km route starting from the Tate Modern. A Santa suit will be provided.
