Our strategy

To empower the community of people impacted by Long Covid, embedding their voices, experiences and perspectives in everything we do.

Long Covid affects over 2 million people in the UK across all ages and backgrounds. Many live with debilitating symptoms that limit daily life, with little access to effective healthcare or support, and for many recovery remains uncertain.

In response, we have developed an ambitious three-year strategy to drive change. It sets clear priorities for our work while supporting sustainable growth and building on our strong foundations.

How did we do it?

We developed this strategy over time, through a few different processes:

2024

We reviewed our history and consulted with our community to better understand their priorities. We formed a community strategy which we launched in March 2025.

2025

Over the rest of 2025, we refined and refreshed those strategic goals. We wanted to check they were realistic, and still aligned with community needs and changes in the external environment.

2026

We defined four key pillars of activity and set out clear deliverables under each. This is our 2026 – 2029 strategy.
