Volunteer with us

Long Covid Support exists because of the dedication and passion of our volunteers. As we grow, we need more people to join us.

VOLUNTEERING

What to expect

Whatever your skills, we'll help you use them effectively. Our volunteers:

  • Help the charity run on a day-to-day basis

  • Provide online and in-person support to people affected by Long Covid

  • Contribute to our influencing work to change policy, so people get the help they need

  • Support research through patient involvement and raising awareness

What you’ll do

Four people standing in front of a colorful mosaic mural, all wearing face masks. The person on the right is wearing a gray shirt with "Long COVID Support" logo, the woman in the middle has a black and white patterned dress, the man on the left has glasses and a black suit, and the woman on the right has curly hair and glasses.

We want your volunteering experience to be rewarding and good for your wellbeing. You'll join a supportive team of like-minded people. As part of volunteering with us, you’ll receive:

  • A structured onboarding process

  • Ongoing support from your work stream lead

  • Regular wellbeing check-ins

What you’ll get

We ask all volunteers to sign a volunteering agreement and provide two character references, details of an emergency contact and photo ID. Some roles require a current DBS check, and we'll support you with this if needed.
