Our team

Long Covid UK was set up by and for people impacted by Long Covid. Lived expertise remains absolutely central to our work.

Over 65% of our team – including trustees, volunteers and freelancers – live with Long Covid, and a further 7% care for someone who does. As a user-led charity, lived experience is at the heart of everything we do.

This is combined with professional expertise across research, policy, finance and governance, enabling us to deliver high-quality work and drive meaningful change. Our team works flexibly across the UK, supported by over 60 regular volunteers. Find out more about how you can volunteer too.
